SHERBURNE – After coming up short to Little Falls on Tuesday, the Sherburne-Earlville Lady Marauders welcomed Dolgeville on Thursday. S-E dropped their second straight game, letting Dolgeville go on a big run in the final eight minutes in a 52-47 deficit.

In the non-league game, S-E held a 28-20 lead at halftime and boosted that lead to start the second half. S-E was up by 12 (44-32) to start the fourth quarter, but lost momentum. The Lady Marauders were limited to just three points while Dolgeville pushed through with 20 to give them the overall advantage. The Blue Devils were also solid at the foul line, making 15-of 25 attempts for 60 percent as S-E got themselves into foul trouble.

Alex Grzymkowski paved the way for S-E with 20 points, including two three-pointers. Alyse Brown continues to stay consistent as she put up 10 points. Coming off a big night, Hannah Todd-Rogers was held to just eight points in the loss.

S-E (6-3) will be participating in the Unadilla Valley Holiday Tournament, featuring UV and Greene. S-E will face UV on Thursday at 3 p.m. and Greene on Friday, Dec 29 at 2:45 p.m.
