SHERBURNE – On Wednesday, the Sherburne-Earlville Lady Marauders hosted Vernon-Verona Sherrill in CSC/Tri-Valley league match-up. S-E came out on top 58-36, earning their third straight victory. S-E had four players hit double digit scoring with Alex Grzymkowski paving the way with 14 points.

The Marauders quickly fired up on offense to set the pace for a pressured defense, who only allowed three points in the third quarter alone. Grzymkowski also pushed four blocks and four steals on defense to go along with her hot offensive streak. She has a total of 44 points in the first three games and is on track for a strong senior season.

Hannah Todd-Rogers tied Grzymkowski with 14 points and both added five rebounds as well. Chesnee Miller, who also has been excelling in the first few games of the season, finished behind Grzymkowski and Todd-Rogers with 12 points as Alyse Brown had 11 in the win.

S-E (3-0) looks to continue its win streak as they host their annual tip-off tournament Friday and Saturday. The Lady Marauders will face off against Unadilla Valley on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
