OXFORD — The Oxtober Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, at LaFayette Park in Oxford. Join the fun with pumpkin carvings, a scarecrow contest, music, food trucks, a kid zone, vendors and more.

One of the event coordinators, Sarah Smith, said she would like to thank everyone for being supportive of the rescheduled weather date and said it was a learning experience for them.

“We’re so proud of this event. The numbers continue to increase due to the small town nostalgic atmosphere of Historic Oxford. The community makes Oxford a great place to live,” said Smith.
