NORWICH — The NBT Summer Concert Series 2023 shows are a summer highlight of Norwich and free to the public. The shows start at 7 p.m on Thursdays in East Park on Broad and Main Street.

July performers brought stellar performances and included Memphis-based Grammy nominated Southern Avenue; nominated for best contemporary blues album, Travelin McCourys, and Bywater Call.

August shows will fire it up with The Garcia Projection on August 3; who perform recreations of classic Jerry Garcia Band set lists from 1976 to 1995, Nathan and the Zydeco Cha Chas will perform on Aug 10, Mr. Sipp on August 17, The Outlaws on the 24th, and Shiny Ribs will regale the crowd with their "melting pot" music style that's earned them several awards and finish off the summer concert soiree on August 3.

Recently, Chenango County Blues Association President Eric Larsen said, “We’re thankful to NBT for being our Summer Concert Series sponsor once again, and thankful for the great support we get from some local foundations that help put on national act shows for free.

“I always say it’s hard to beat. There’s not other communities really that have this available, and that’s thanks to all the great support we get,” he added.
