NORWICH — About four days ago police began a homicide investigation after responding to a Norwich apartment and discovering a body.

Officials identified the victim as 44-year-old Norwich resident, Alisa Ann Martin.

City of Norwich Police Chief Reuben Roach said the death had been ruled a homicide following a preliminary investigation.The Norwich Police are asking anyone with information to call 607-336-8477.

Thursday morning Roach had no additional information to offer. He said the investigation was continuing and releasing more information at this time would not be helpful. He said police would release additional details soon.
