The 2023 MAC Baseball All-Stars

CHENANGO COUNTY – After this year’s baseball season wrapped up, the MAC committee announced the 2023 all-stars.

These players went above and beyond this season to earn either a first-team, a second-team, or an honorable mention honor. Afton and Bainbridge-Guilford had several players achieve these honors for their tremendous efforts in regular season play and in the playoffs.

First-Team:

Afton:

Matthew Carman-Sophomore-.450 batting average, 1.317 on-base plus slugging percentage, scored nine runs, stole 10 bases.

Ryan Wright-Sophomore-.452 avg, scored 13 runs, stole 15 bases, 1.048 OPS. On the mound: finished with a 0.74 ERA and 57 strikeouts.

Justin Reeve-Junior-Drove in 13 runs (RBIs). On the mound: finished with a 0.74 ERA with 27 strikeouts.

B-G:

Nolan Hawkins-Senior- struck out 50 batters through 36 innings pitched.

Connor Davy-Freshman-.393 avg, .785 slugging percentage, scored 13 runs, drove in 12 runs, and hit four triples.

Second Team:

B-G’s Ethan Beames (senior), Damon Seymour (junior), Kaiden Seymour (sophomore)
