NORWICH — Plans are underway for another season of concert band music from The Norwich City Band, conducted by retired Sherburne-Earlville Band Director Gary Solomon.

The band will present performances in the bandstand at East Park in Norwich. There are six scheduled evening concerts set for July and August beginning at 7 p.m., and are free to the public. Performance dates are July 14, 21, and 28, and August 4 and 11, rain or shine.

The Norwich City Band’s personnel includes area school music teachers, local musicians, and area high school musicians. Musical selections include overtures, marches, popular music, Broadway musicals, and more. So, bring a lawn chair and join us in the East Park for an hour of entertaining concert band music.
