OTSELIC – Coming off a big win over McGraw, the Otselic Valley Lady Vikings returned home to face Brookfield. Brookfield snapped OV’s four-game win streak with a 9-0 shutout victory.

OV was held to just two hits on the afternoon, while one runner reached first base on a catcher’s interference in the bottom of the seventh inning. Cassidy Will and Paige Will each singled in the game and made two great catches on defense, along with Carlie Golden and Abby White.

Cassidy Will also pitched a complete game on the mound for the Vikings. Despite taking the loss, she struck out 11 batters. The senior has struck out 96 batters this season with a few games remaining.

OV hosts DeRuyter for the final regular season game this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. where they will honor seniors Cassidy Will and Tori Foster.
