BAINBRIDGE — It’s time for the 9th annual Regatta Row Street Art Exhibit and Auctions! The Jericho Arts Council Gallery Committee has 15 of our adult size Adirondack-style Canoe Paddle Chairs and five child size Chairs built by Dan Stoltzfus and painted by 20 talented area artists. The theme this year is “Books by the Riverside”.

The chairs arrived on the sidewalks of North and West Main Street in the village of Bainbridge on April 26, with canoe paddles created by Foxx Worx Paddles and decorated by Bainbridge-Guilford and Greene High School students being hung in business windows. Regatta Row Street Art will be on display for all to enjoy through the month of May.

All are online at the auction site www.32auctions.com/rr2023chairs and www.32auctions.com/rr2023paddles, with the chairs moving on to a live auction in the Chamber of Commerce tent at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 27 at the Regatta in General Clinton Park. Proceeds from the art auctions will go to the JAC Regatta Row fund to support artists and musicians and to create future events.
