VESTAL – The Norwich Family YMCA is proud to announce that their remaining travel basketball team won the end of season Slim Sylvester Tournament. The tournament was held in Vestal over the weekend. The team features players ranging from third to fifth grade.

The team faced Sus Valley in the first game, where they won 22-2 before defeating Owego 31-18 in the next game. This win would send them to the championship game, where they won against Syracuse Select 31-13.

The team finished the season 20-3 with the help of coaches Joe Alger, Josh Bennett and Lee Skillin.
