CORTLAND COUNTY – The Norwich YMCA Dolphins swim team had a great showing at the 2023 Central NY YMCA District Championship Meet held at SUNY Cortland. The first year back after a two- year hiatus for the Dolphins produced nearly two minutes of collective time drops for the juniors (10 & under) and slightly over 16 seconds of collective time drops for the seniors (11 & over).

The eight and under girls produced a District Champion with Nora Diefenbacher in the 25 yard Freestyle, along with Kennedy Foulds, Kate Hull, Danny Williams, Maggie Williams, Maverick Douglass-Utter, and Aiden Diefenbacher with top 12 finishes in their events for the Juniors. Seniors saw top 12 finishes from Alex Shtrauch, Adrianna Palmer, Rory Strauch, Timothy Guzewich, and Maddison McKissick in their events.

Well done swimmers!
