CHENANGO COUNTY – Commerce Chenango President and CEO Sal Testani has announced structure and staffing changes at the organization.

Testani shared, “We would like to thank both Brianna Miner and Kathrine Olsen for their past contributions to Commerce Chenango. They recently left the organization to pursue other opportunities and we wish them well as they move on to the next phase of their careers. We are currently searching for a Director of Membership Development and Programs.”

Testani has also announced that Barb Knowles has accepted the role of Office Manager and Executive Assistant and Jenna Ostrander will see her role expand as our Economic Development Coordinator.

Testani said, “Barb and Jenna have a tremendous working relationship and work ethic. I am confident they will both succeed in their new roles.”

“I am pleased to announce that Lucille (Lu) Dick has agreed to take on the role of Membership Director and Program Support for Commerce Chenango on an interim basis as we seek out a permanent solution for the recently-vacated position. We are excited to be able to add Lu to the Commerce Chenango team.”

Lu has worked for the Chenango County Chamber of Commerce, the Norwich Pennysaver, and most recently, she joined the ranks of the retired after a successful career with Golden Artist Colors as Assistant to Mark Golden. She brings with her a tremendous wealth of knowledge and experience and I encourage you to reach out and wish her luck in her new role, and to provide her with feedback as to how we can create more value for our members.

Lu will start working immediately to establish relationships with current and potential members and will be working closely with Audrey Robinson, the Director of Communications and Tourism, Jenna Ostrander, Barb Knowles, and with the President and CEO Sal Testani to understand and meet the challenges of the business community of Chenango County. Please join us in welcoming Lu to our team and wishing her much success in her new role.

“I would like to thank all our board members for your support of Commerce Chenango and our team members as we transition through these changes. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions that you may have,” said Testani.

Organized in 1959, Commerce Chenango is a not-for-profit, community-based organization dedicated to enhancing the economic growth of Chenango County and the surrounding area.
