ELMIRA – The Bainbridge-Guilford boys basketball team finished the regular season off strong with a 68-45 win over Elmira-Notre Dame. The Bobcats finish 11-7 overall with an 8-2 MAC record. This was also their second consecutive game with 60 or more points after defeating Walton the night before on senior night.

B-G played consistent in the first half and took a 28-19 lead at halftime. They held Elmira-Notre Dame to just eight points in the second quarter. Both teams came to play in the third quarter, but B-G held on the big advantage, outscoring their opponent 25-15 in the quarter alone. The Bobcats continued to play well in the final eight minutes to secure the victory.

James Hogroian paved the way with 26 points and knocked down three three-pointers. He had nine points in the first quarter while scoring eight in the dominant start to the second half. David Emerson finished behind him with 15 points.

B-G is currently tied with Greene with the 8-2 MAC record and will face them on Tuesday to see who will advance to the MAC Championship game on Friday night. Greene defeated B-G in the regular season in late December.
