OXFORD– Fresh off a win against Franklin, the Oxford Blackhawks got back into MAC league play against Bainbridge-Guilford. Oxford defeated the Bobcats 52-32.

B-G was missing a few key players in the contest, but that didn’t stop them from trying their best.

On the other hand, Oxford’s defense played another fierce game. They stole the ball nine times and recovered 21 turnovers to give them momentum on offense.

The Blackhawks, again, proved to be an all-rounded team where everyone got in the game. Madalyn Barrows led the team with 18 points and helped pick up four assists and seven rebounds, including six defensive. Ella Kelsey finished second in scoring with 12 points.

For B-G, three ladies stepped up to keep the team active. Jayslin Henderson led with 18 points and recovered seven rebounds with five offensive. Celeste Baldwin had nine points in the contest with knocking down two three’s and picking up 10 rebounds and three assists. Johnna Henderson finished with five points in the loss.
