MORRIS – The Unadilla Valley Storm boys’ basketball team suffered a 53-33 loss on the road against Morris on Tuesday evening. UV’s starters were limited throughout the game with Morris able to take a good advantage offensively.

Morris scored 34 points in the first half before coming back out with 15 in the third quarter. UV tried to push through in the fourth quarter, but efforts were not enough for a steady comeback.

UV’s Zach Smith scored a team-high of eight points while Kaden Butts helped off the bench with six points in the loss.

Morris’ Tiger Ross led all scorers with 21 points while teammate Garrett Aikins finished with 10 points.

UV looks to get back on track and can do so with extra preparation as they wait to host Harpursville on Thursday, December 22 at 7 p.m.
