DEPOSIT – On Wednesday evening, the Greene Trojans faced Deposit-Hancock, where they came away with a 44-33 victory.

Greene played consistently throughout the entire game, where they were fierce on defense and controlled on offense. Greene only allowed Deposit to score three points in the first quarter and four points in the third, which gave them momentum to score on offense.

The Trojans’ 16 points in the first quarter alone helped immensely against an attempted comeback late in the second half by the Lumberjacks.

Greene’s leading scorer was Joel Vielandi, while Jaden Eroshevich was limited with just six points. Vielandi had 13 points, including the team’s only three-point shot of the contest. Trevor Ketchum was behind him with eight points as Kloden Rapp finished with seven points.

Greene (2-1) is right back on the court this evening (Thursday) as they host Sidney at 7:15 p.m.
