BOYS SOCCER: BG Defeats Sidney

BAINBRIDGE – Over the weekend, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats boys soccer team defeated Sidney 5-1.

BG scored three goals in the first half as Garrett O’Hara scored off a pass from Julien Pruskowski in the opening 10 minutes of the game. O’Hara also earned an assist off teammate Trent Sullivan’s goal.

Michael Lipani scored on a corner kick that was headed by Ben Porter just before Lipani got the shot on it. Lipani had an assist on Nolan Foster’s goal late in the second half.

Marek Rajner found the net on a pass across by Ilias Wilson before Sidney answered back with its lone goal by Travis Weeden.

Collin Dicks made three saves in the win for the Bobcats while Sidney’s Louis Siegenthaler made 10.

BG will face Delhi this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
