OXFORD – On Tuesday, the Oxford Blackhawks girls soccer team defeated Delhi 4-1. The game was tied 1-1 at halftime. Oxford’s Kayla Figary would score on a pass from Taylor Smith in the first three minutes of the game.

In the second half, Oxford found its rhythm as Taegan Manwarren scored two goals. One came from help by Jocie Finch and the next on a cornerkick off a pass from Smith. Hailey Fleury would seal the deal with a goal that Smith crossed but Figary touched before giving it to her to score.

Oxford has a little extra time to prepare for Unadilla Valley for a game on September 26, starting at 4:30 p.m.
