T-C Horseshoes: The Final Week Of 2022

GREENE – The 2022 Tri-County Horseshoe League has ended as of September 15. There is no doubt who finished first, Octagon with 242 wins and 78 losses, the best record in the league.

After several ties last week, including tie for third place, the final standings have been decided, at least for the top five teams. Betty’s Boys II takes second and Riverside in third. Pond Crew and Betty’s Boys rounded out the top five.

Seebers and Ticknors finished tied for seventh after both teams lost in game play and held a record of 144-176. Chuggers, who spent most of the season in the last spot, finished 10th with Bowlodrome in last.

The Tri-County Horseshoe League will hold its end of season banquet on Saturday, September 24 at the Pond Crew pits with a tournament starting at 1 p.m. Congratulations to all teams, who are already looking forward to the summer of 2023.
