NEW BERLIN– On Monday, the Unadilla Valley Storm girls soccer team suffered a 4-3 overtime loss to Unatego. A game where UV led 2-0 at halftime, but couldn’t hold on defense. Kadence York scored all three goals for the Storm with teammates Myriah Taylor and Bella Potter earning assists.

Kylie Mussaw scored two goals for Unatego while teammate Harly Birdsall scored one. Assists were made by Ruby Stevenson and Bailey McCoy. Avery James scored the game-winning goal in overtime.

This was the first loss for the Storm this season and they look to bounce back against Sidney Wednesday for senior night. Seniors Pyper Kneale, Kadence York, Kailee Figger, and Emily Nichols will be honored prior to the 6 p.m. game.
