FIELD HOCKEY: Greene Starts Off 2022 Season With Win

GREENE – In the first game of the 2022 season, the Greene Trojans field hockey team defeated Moravia 4-1 on Friday afternoon. Greene saw four goals from four different scorers. McKenzie Scott, Nadia Brown, Josie Dutcher, and Harlee Montgomery each scored a goal. Dutcher, along with teammate Emma Rice, also picked up an assist.

Greene used both goalkeepers in the game to give them playing time. Senior Natalie Scofield got the start where she made five saves and faced 10 shots on goal. Tatiana Wells made two saves in the win. Greene only made eight shots on goal against Moravia’s goalkeeper Miner but four of those shots counted.

Greene is set to face a tough Whitney Point team on the road Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
