NEW BERLIN – For the week of August 24, Kelly’s Flowers remains in the top spot while Baillie Lumber makes another climb and slides into second place. Tim Lidell and Mike Grant are just 5.5 wins from Ed Kohler and Lee Coon and six wins from taking the lead in the South New Berlin Horseshoe Club. In the third spot sits Danny Harrington and Lance Gage of Harrington Tree Service while Billy Schermerhorn and John Edwards of Potter’s Tire and The Trophy Guy, Cindy and Joe Miller, are tied for fourth place. There are also numerous ties throughout the standings.

Dale Lund led the men while his team Rustic Ridge, who currently stands in ninth place with partner Ron Anderson, took three of four team categories. Lund led the high singles and series ahead of Chad Somers. Lund scored 95 points in the high singles and 265 in the high series.

Rustic Ridge got by the team high singles, high series, and high series handicap, but it was Taylor’s Country House, Brad Shaver and Jess Sherwood, who earned the victory in the high singles handicap.

For the women, it was Kate Lloyd over Sherwood this time. Lloyd scored 82 points in the high singles and 229 in the high series. The South New Berlin Horseshoe club plays every Wednesday night.
