NORWICH – On Wednesday, the Norwich Golf Team fell to Chenango Forks in their first loss of the season 234-247. Norwich’s Braden Reid and Aiden Stafford shared top medalist honors in the third match of the season, both shooting a 48 on the day.

“Golf is tough to figure out sometimes,” Coach Branham said. “Easy one day hard the next.”

While it was a rough day for Norwich, Branham was impressed to see four different medalists in the three matches so far.

Aside from Reid and Stafford, senior Logan Waters finished with a 49 with Jacob Morris behind him with a 50. Jacob Dowdall’s 52 wrapped it up for Norwich.

Chenango Forks’ top medalist shot an unbeatable 37 while another shot a 41. Otherwise, Norwich would’ve had a fair chance.

Norwich (2-1) is on the road facing Windsor this morning (Thursday) with a tee off scheduled for 11 a.m.
