NEW BERLIN – For the week of August 17, Kelly’s Flowers keeps on rolling with a six win lead over Harrington Tree Service. But, Danny Harrington and Lance Gage better watch out for Baillie Lumber’s Tim Lidell and Mike Grant, because they are just two and a half wins away in third place. They moved from fifth to third over top teams like The Trophy Guy, Potter’s Tire, and P & E.

Potter’s Tire, The Trophy Guy, and P & E are all currently tied for fourth place with a record of 38.5-25.5. In terms of total points scored, Potter’s Tire, Billy Schermerhorn and John Edwards, has 5081 points over The Trophy Guy’s 4598 and P & E with 4234.

Rustic Ridge’s Dale Lund and Ron Anderson climbed up to number nine this week and continue to dominate in team high points. Rustic Ridge scored 160 points in the high singles with Kelly’s Flowers, Ed Kohler and Lee Coon, behind them with 138. They also scored 431 points in the high series over Kelly’s Flowers 406. Lund was on top for the men this week with a 88 in the high singles and a 253 in the high series.

For the team handicap categories, none of the top teams found themselves taking either one. Prolifiq Sign Studio, Tresta Smith and Kate Lloyd, tied with Wise Guys Sammy’s, Mike Aylesworth and Jamie Delamater, for the high singles with 217 points. Behind them was Sheryl and Bob Rowe from Laughlin’s Lawn Care with 214 points. Wise Guys Sammy’s put up 621 points to earn the victory in the high series.

For the women, it’s been an all season battle between Jess Sherwood and Kate Lloyd. But this week, Jess Sherwood took both categories with 81 points over Sheryl Rowe’s 75 in the high singles while scoring 218 in the high series ahead of Cindy Miller’s 184. The South New Berlin Horseshoe club plays every Wednesday night.
