GREENE – For the week of August 11, Octagon maintains a steady lead as Betty’s Boys II and Riverside keep battling it out for second place. Octagon was supposed to play Dam Team, but that match-up wasn’t played, leaving both teams where they are.

Meanwhile, Riverside and Betty’s Boys II both picked up 12-4 wins. Betty’s Boys II holds a two-win advantage through the 17th week of play.

Don’t count Pond Crew out as they came out on top over Ticknors 12-4 while Betty’s Boys relaxed on a bye week to round out the top five teams in the standings.

Last place Chuggers ended in a tie for the second straight week as they picked up eight points against Bowlodrome to wrap up the week. Chuggers can end their misery as being the last team if they can pick up more points than Bowlodrome next week.

The Tri-County Horseshoe League plays every Thursday night.
