Angelino Encourages Small Businesses To Apply For COVID Recovery Grant Program
Published: August 10th, 2022

NEW YORK — Assemblyman Joseph Angelino (R,C,I-Norwich) is urging small businesses to apply for the COVID Small Business Recovery Grant Program. The program has $200 million left out of the overall $800 million allocation.

“So many of our small businesses are still in recovery mode from the pandemic. I want to be sure that small-business owners are aware of every tool and program available to them,” said Angelino. “The COVID Recovery Grant Program still has $200 million left to distribute with an update to eligibility. I encourage businesses to take a look again at the program to see if it is a good fit for them.”

There also has been an update to eligibility: a positive net profit on the 2019 Business Return of $1 or more will no longer be considered. Full details about eligibility and where to apply may be found at nysmallbusinessrecovery.com.
