T-C Horseshoe League: Octagon Stands Still While The Rest Inch Closer To The Top

GREENE – There is no doubt who remains on top of the Tri-County Horseshoe League. That would be Octagon, coming in at 180 wins and 60 losses. Week after week since early June, they have dominated in game play. Octagon crushed Pond Crew 13-3 this week in the 16th week of play.

After having a bye week, Betty’s Boys II returned and jumped back into their second spot ahead of Riverside. They are clearly the second-best team in the league with just 78 losses. Betty’s Boys II achieved a demanding 11-5 win over Dam Team while Riverside suffered a 10-6 loss to Ticknors. Ticknors is fighting to move into the top five as they’re currently in sixth behind Pond Crew.

Betty’s Boys, who are in fourth place, put up a phenomenal week-best 14 points in the 14-2 win over Bowlodrome. Brisben had a bye week while Chuggers and Seebers finished in a 8-8 tie to end the week. The Tri-County Horseshoe League plays every Thursday night.
