T-C Horseshoe League: Octagon Holds Control While Riverside Cruises Into Second

GREENE – For the Week of July 28, Octagon remained in first while Riverside passed Betty’s Boys II to earn second place in the Tri-County Horseshoe League.

Octagon continues to hold a demanding 29 game lead in the standings after defeating Brisben 13-3. While Betty’s Boys II enjoyed a bye week, Riverside snuck ahead into second place after a 13-3 win over Chuggers, who can’t seem to move away from last place. Betty’s Boys II holds still at third and looks to jump back into second next week.

Pond Crew and Betty’s Boys round out the top five of the standings. Pond Crew defeated Bowlodrome 11-5 while Betty’s Boys took down Ticknors 10-6.

Seebers closed out the week tied for seventh place with Brisben after pulling out a 9-7 win over Dam Team. The Tri-County Horseshoe League plays every Thursday night.
