NEW BERLIN – For the week of June 1, there is a new leader atop of the standings, Bert Adams Disposal. Larry Shaw and Garrett Gott improved to 15.5-4.5 ahead of Carpet Plus Color Tile and Harrington Tree Service who are tied for second with a record of 15-5.

Dale Lund of Rustic Ridge continues to shine in the men’s singles and high series. Lund took a 97 to 93 advantage in the high singles over Baillie Lumber’s Tim Lidell. Lund and his partner Ron Anderson finished first and second for the high series.

Rustic Ridge was dominant in the team categories, but dropped down to seventh place in the standings. Lund and Anderson scored 176 points in the team high singles over Baillie Lumber with 159. They also put up a whopping 496 points in the team high series over Kelly’s Flowers 393. The team high series handicap was a tight battle, but Rustic Ridge took the 661 to 658 advantage over The Trophy Guy.

For the women’s high singles, Taylor’s Country House’s Jess Sherwood topped Prolifiq Sign Studio’s Kate Lloyd 79-76, but, Lloyd took the one-point advantage in the high series over Sherwood 213-212. Cindy Miller took third in both categories.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe club plays every Wednesday night.
