SHERBURNE– The Sherburne-Earlville softball team honored its four seniors before the game in the 12-2 loss on Tuesday. Amelia Moyer, Josie Parker, Julia Romanowski, and Ayla Shaw were recognized.

The Marauders had several chances to score with runners on base in the third and final sixth and seventh innings, but Clinton’s strong defense only allowed them to touch home plate twice.

Haleigh Fisher led off the fifth inning with a double to center field and teammate Ayla Shaw hit an infield single to third. Hannah Todd-Rodgers grounded out to second base and Fisher scored. Tatum Contantini brought in the second and final run for S-E.
