SHERBURNE– The Sherburne-Earlville Marauders honored its ten seniors but fell short 3-0 against Mount Markham.

Before the game, Ben Menard, Ethan Kober, Taylor Grzymkowski, Preston Eaves, Garrett Fleming, Blaine Blinebry, Derick Miller, Nick McDaniel, Mytchell Stowell, and Mason Goedel were honored. As for losing these 10 seniors, S-E juniors Espn Anderson and Jackson Bush will remain along with a set of new talent next year.

Nick McDaniel took the loss on the mound, striking out four batters. His defense caught two batters stealing second, but allowed five stolen bases that would eventually come in to score.

At the plate, Preston Eaves went 3-for-3 with three singles while Grzymkowski and Menard each had singles late in the game.

Sherburne-Earlville got two men on in the sixth but would fail to score.

The Marauders head to Little Falls Tuesday afternoon with a 6 p.m. start.
