Norwich Tennis Suffers Loss To Chenango Forks

CHENANGO FORKS– On Wednesday, Norwich Boys Tennis traveled to Chenango Forks where they lost 7-0.

In the singles matches, Chenango Forks' Micheal Rullo defeated Norwich's Nathan Franklin in two sets of 6-0.

Joey Worden won against Donavan Gillen in sets of 6-1 and 6-0 while both Brian Tye and Alex McMullen won in forefit matches for Forks.

For the doubles matches, Eli Stocum and Nazar Kovulchak took both sets from Matt Hall and William Lindner with scores of 6-1 and 6-3.

Norwich's Alex Newman and Philip Kraft gave Evan Jacobs and Nolan Sirgany a tough time as they were able to win the first set 6-4, but then fell 6-0 and 10-3 in the best of three.

Forks' John Frissora and Aiden Hunt won on a forefeit.

Norwich will host Windsor on Friday afternoon with a 4:30 p.m. start.
