NORWICH – Co-pastors Michael and Nancy Krembs are thrilled to announce the church will be hosting several members of the Sunday Brass Ensemble associated with the Binghamton Community Orchestra.

The performance will take place on Sunday, April 10, at the church’s 10:30 a.m. service at 10 West Park Place, Norwich.

Several selections will be performed in conjunction with the church’s organist, James Dwyer.

The husband-and-wife team of Revs. Mike and Nancy Krembs began their pastorate at First Baptist in May of 2021. They are both graduates of Andover Newton Theological School near Boston, where they met and married in the early 1980’s.

They have served several pastorates in western NY and later Deposit, NY where they served for 12 years. Pastor Mike is a bi-vocational pastor who is semi-retired as a chiropractor. He is also a professional life coach. Pastor Nancy has been at her husband’s side, serving as his receptionist and bookkeeper. She has also done pulpit supply and substitute teaching for many years. The Krembs have six grown children, and one grandchild with another on the way in the fall.

The Krembs have come to First Baptist with a passion for missions, both local and foreign. They have both worked in Guatemala and Belize, and at home in prison fellowships, homeless outreach programs, family resource programs, soup kitchens and food pantries, and look forward to bringing the mission emphasis ‘home to Norwich.'

Story Continues Below Adverts

Pastors Mike and Nancy believe a church should reflect both knowing and serving God and others, while making God the priority in our lives. They are both very active in visitation. The pastors stated they have had a very pleasant introduction to Norwich and would like to continue getting to know the community.
