The New Berlin Library Is Celebrating Easter

NEW BERLIN – The New Berlin Library will be celebrating Easter with several children centered activities this year.

Throughout the month of April there will be a new craft available for children 12 and younger in the juvenile literature room.

The crafts this year are foam Easter Bunny and Easter Egg magnet kits.  

The library will also be giving away Easter goodie bags full of candy and small Easter toys to children ages 12 and younger.   The goodie bags will be available Monday, April 4.   This bags are one per child and on a first come first serve basis.   

Finally, The New Berlin Library will be participating in the Annual Village of New Berlin Easter Egg Hunt.   During the village's Easter Egg Hunt the library will be giving away children's picture books. The Village of New Berlin's Easter Egg Hunt will be taking place on Saturday, April 16 at 1 pm at Hyde Park located on North main Street in the village of New Berlin.

Some great new additions to the library include: Cold by Mariko Tamaki, The Lightning Rod (A Zig and Nola Novel) by Brad Meltzer, She raised Her Voice: 50 Black Women Who sang Their Way Into Music History by Jordannah Elizabeth, A Sunlit Weapon (A Maisie Dobbs Novel) by Jacqueline Winspeare, The Recovery Agent by Janey Evanovich, A Safe House (A Stone Barrington Novel) by Stuart Woods, Sunny G's Series of Rash Decisions by Navdeep Singh Dhillon, and Bitter by Akaeke Emezi.   

The New Berlin Library is located at 15 South Main Street, New Berlin.   The library is open Monday and Wednesday 10 am to 8 pm; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10 am to 5 pm; and Saturdays 10 am to noon.
