GILBERTSVILLE — On February 14, 2022 at approximately 9:11 a.m., New York State Police at Oneonta and NYSP members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation were dispatched by Otsego 911 to a reported fire at a home on Maple Street in the Village of Gilbertsville.

Members of the fire department located the resident of the home deceased inside. She is identified as 64 year old Lucinda L. Dubben.

The investigation into the fire continues, however foul play is not suspected.

The Otsego Office of Emergency Services and the New York State Office of Fire Prevention also responded to the scene. Responding fire departments included: Gilbertsville, New Berlin, Morris, Otego, West Laurens, Sidney, Wells Bridge, and West Oneonta.
