Norwich 69, Harpursville 48

HARPURSVILLE - Norwich clinched a Section IV postseason spot as Keegan Franklin led the Purple Tornado Saturday afternoon with a season-high performance.

Franklin scored 15 of his 29 points in the first half as Norwich (8-11) raced to a 38-23 lead over the Hornets.

"He's having a great season, and he played a great game (on Saturday) at both ends of the floor," said Norwich coach Tom Collier of Franklin's performance.

Jerell Stokes canned a trio of 3s in the fourth quarter finishing with 12 points for NHS. The Tornado faced Vestal on Monday night.

Otselic Valley 66, Mater Dei Academy 51

SOUTH OTSELIC - Otselic Valley made it six straight victories on Saturday afternoon as Braeden Davis poured in 34 points to lead the way.

The Vikings (11-8) maintained a six-point lead entering the fourth, but it was Davis' 12 points in the final quarter that helped seal the win.

Davis now has four 30-point nights over his last six games, and leads all Chenango County boys in scoring at nearly 24 points a contest.

Matthew Wetterer posted a double-double in the OV win scoring 17 points and grabbing 14 rebounds.

Central Valley Academy 74, Sherburne-Earlville 45

SHERBURNE - Central Valley Academy brought the thunder in the first quarter nailing five 3s, and four of the visiting team's players scoring in double figures in Monday's win over the Sherburne-Earlville.

C.J. Judd made three threes in the first quarter kick-starting the CVA offense, and by halftime the visiting Thunder had 40 points on the board and a 14-point lead.

Preston Eaves scored 15 for S-E, and Brock Weidman had 12 as the Marauders finished the regular season on a four-game losing skein.

SOUTH OTSELIC - Otselic Valley's late-season turnaround continued on Monday night as the Vikes upended Madison on Monday.

It was the third win in five games for OV, which started the season with 10 straight defeats.

"We started off slow on the offensive end (tonight), but came back in the second quarter," said OV coach Danielle Graham. "Tori Foster and Emily Smith led the team on the defensive end making it difficult for Madison to get the shots they wanted."

Foster finished with a game-high 16 points for the Vikings (3-12) hitting all three of her 3s in the second half, and Emily Miller had seven points.

HARPURSVILLE - Bainbridge-Guilford halted a four-game slide in its final outing of the season upending Harpursville on Monday night.

B-G (7-13) shook off a sluggish first quarter to take command in the middle two periods.

Celeste Baldwin hit all three of her 3s, and scored 17 of her game-high 25 points in the second and third quarters as the Bobcats constructed a 36-24 lead over the Hornets.

Johnna Henderson pitched in with 11 points for B-G.

Little Falls 56, Sherburne-Earlville 38

LITTLE FALLS - Kylie Kress scored a game-high 23 points for Little Falls lifting her club past Sherburne-Earlville on Monday night.

Kress scored all but two of her points through the first three quarters as her club built a 46-29 lead over the Marauders (2-18).

Hannah Todd-Rogers had a career night for the Marauders in their final game of the season.

Rogers scored a season-high 19 points on 9-of-13 shooting, and pulled down 10 rebounds. Alexis James added seven points and five steals.
