Senior Night Victory!

Congratulations to our varsity girls basketball team on its 49-36 Tri-Valley League victory over visiting Morris on Friday night.

The Raiders honored Ashlyn Marron, Tammy Barnes and national-anthem singer Kacie Turnbull with a pre-game Senior Night ceremony. Marron scored 10 points and Barnes had four for GMU, which received a game-high 19 points from Hannah Bonczkowski (four three-pointers) and 12 from fellow junior Megan Perrine.

Carissa Richards’ 16 points paced the Mustangs, who got another 11 from Hannah Wist.

Up next for GMU is a non-league game at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Gilboa-Conesville. The Raiders close their regular season with seven straight road games before the Tri-Valley League playoffs begin February 8.
