Girls’ Basketball Delhi Grabs Momentum With Big Third Quarter

NEW BERLIN - Unadilla Valley took big momentum into halftime, but Delhi grabbed it back with a dominant third quarter in Tuesday’s win over the Storm.

Unadilla Valley trailed by 14 at the first turn, but a strong second quarter from Kadence York in which she scored nine points pared the deficit to 25-21.

Delhi regained momentum in the third outscoring UV 20-6. Sylvia Liddle hit two 3s and scoring eight points as the margin was extended to 45-27.

Liddle finished with 15 points to lead Delhi.

York had 14 points for UV (2-7).
