Mid York Concert Band Inviting New Members
Published: January 4th, 2022

NORWICH — The Mid-York Concert Band will present its annual Spring Concert on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 2:30 PM in the Norwich High School Auditorium.

We encourage musicians in the surrounding communities to grab their instruments, dust off the cobwebs, and join us as we start our rehearsals for our Spring program. Rehearsals begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11 in the band room of the Norwich Middle School.

Concert highlights will include "The Spirit of Aloha" by Brian Balmages, "Magic City Fanfare" by Gary Fagan, "The Patriot" by John Williams, and "New York: 1927" by Warren Barker. As has been our tradition, the spring performance will conclude with our tribute to local service men and women with "Armed Forces: The Pride of America" arranged by Larry Clark and Greg Gilpin.
