Carnrike joins UHS Chenango Memorial leadership team George Carnrike III

NORWICH – George Carnrike III has joined the leadership team at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital. The Norwich native will serve as the hospital’s security supervisor.

“George has more than ten years of experience in security and law enforcement, and deep ties to our Chenango community. We feel very fortunate to have someone of his skill and expertise stepping into this important role,” said Hans Franklin, Service Line Manager of Support Services and Logistics at Chenango Memorial Hospital.

Carnrike was a City of Norwich police officer until 2016, when he transitioned to the private sector.

According to Carnrike, having a professional and courteous security team is beneficial for the safety of staff, as well as the patients and residents cared for by the facility.

“I look forward to improving the security division here at UHS Chenango Memorial while building strong working relationships both within the facility and with our community and law enforcement partners,” he said.

UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital is a member of United Health Services, a locally owned not-for-profit 916-bed hospital and health care system serving the Greater Binghamton region from more than 40 locations around New York’s Southern Tier.
