COVID-19 Update For Chenango County

CHENANGO COUNTY – As of Wednesday there are 108 active cases of COVID-19 in Chenango County, 33 of which are vaccinated, and three individuals are currently hospitalized, none of which are vaccinated.

The Chenango County Department of Health confirmed there have been 4,657 total cases of COVID-19 in Chenango.

There have been 86 confirmed deaths.

The health department also confirmed there are 241 residents under quarantine, and 4,454 total recoveries.

So far approximately 149,586 tests for the virus have been administered in the county.

The health department also confirmed that 58.1 percent of the Chenango County population has received at least one vaccine dose, and 69.5 percent of the 18 years and older population has received at least one dose.

The Chenango County Health Department will be holding a Pfizer first dose and booster clinic for eligible recipients. The clinic will be held on Tuesday, October 26, from 3 to 5 p.m., at their South Plaza location.
