Boys’ Soccer: Greene punches ticket to M-AC championship game

Greene 3, Unadilla Valley/G-MU 1

GREENE - Greene’s boys’ soccer team finished the regular season on 11-game winning streak topping Unadilla Valley/G-MU on Thursday afternoon.

The victory assured a Midstate Athletic Conference championship game appearance next Saturday, Oct. 16 at Oneonta’s Wright Field against a team to be determined.

Unlike the earlier meeting between the two clubs  - a 9-0 Trojans blowout win -  the host club found itself on the short end of the scoreboard early on.
