GREENE - Greene bounced back from back-to-back defeats in grand style pulling away from Maine-Endwell over the final two quarters on Monday.

Tied at 1-1 after two quarters, McKenzie Scott broke the tie scoring unassisted at 11:50 of the third. With just 82 seconds left in the same quarter, Liv Kennedy converted on a penalty stroke pushing the Trojans' lead to two goals.

Emma Rice and the first and last goal for Greene (6-2), which finished with a 14-3 advantage in shots on goal.

Volleyball: Unadilla Valley 3, Unatego 0

NEW BERLIN - Unadilla Valley set up a showdown with county rival Oxford on Tuesday sweeping all three sets from Unatego on Monday, 25-8, 25-6, 25-17.

In stretching its record to 5-0 on the season, Shannon Kelly and Ava Rowe led the Storm with five aces apiece. Kate Conway added a team-best six assists, and Gabby Cummings along with Erica Mumbulo charted three kills each.

UV plays at Oxford tonight.

Girls' Tennis: chenango forks 5, norwich 2

CHENANGO FORKS - Chenango Forks won three of four singles matches, and two of three doubles matchups to claim its sixth win of the season, Monday against visiting Norwich.

The Tornado (4-5) claimed their two team points at fourth singles and third doubles.

Jolei Powell rallied from a first set defeat to top Forks' Katie Saunders, 1-6, 6-2, 6-2.  At third doubles, Norwich's Leona Tyler and Cabrarrah Lawton won in straight sets.
