EDMESTON - UV/G-MU/Morris's golf team may not have beaten the weather, but it did beat visiting Afton-Harpursville earned a 29-shot victory on Wednesday at Red Pines Golf Club.

Scott Murphy led the way for UV/G-MU/Morris shooting a six-over-par 42 to earn overall match medalist honors. Owen Hill added a 49 in the win.

Afton/Harpursville's Jason Reeve led his club shooting a 45.

Sidney 225, Oxford 227

OXFORD - Despite shooting one of its best team scores over the past two seasons, Oxford dropped its second match of the season losing to Sidney by two shots, Wednesday at Bluestone Golf Course.

Kyle Smith's 39 led Sidney, and he was four better than any Oxford player to create the small overall difference.

Bennett Paden and Christian Paden topped the Oxford scorecard shooting 43 and 44 respectively.  Liam O'Brien was next at 45, Ethan Hodge carded a 47, and Ethan Fleury completed the Blackhawks' scoring shooting a 48.

GREENE - Greene's golf team improved its record to 6-3 on the season defeating visiting Bainbridge-Guilford, Wednesday at Genegantslet Golf Club.

Parker Flanagan topped the five-man scoring contingent from Greene. Flanagan fired a 40 over the par-35 front nine to capture match medalist honors.

Lincoln Youngs  (44), Clayton Leonard (45), Austin De Haan (46), and Anthony Thatcher (51) added to the balanced team scoring.

Jack Winn led B-G (2-7) shooting a 46.
