CHENANGO COUNTY - Regions of Chenango County were impacted by localized flooding late Sunday into early Monday as the remnants of Hurricane Henri worked its way up the East Coast.

Henri was downgraded to a tropical depression Monday morning. Experts predict it will hover the New York-Connecticut border before heading eastward.

Chenango County was spared the brunt of the storm over the weekend, seeing only minor flooding in some areas.

Chenango County was included in a state of emergency for 26 New York counties impacted by Henri.
