OXFORD – 6 On The Square in Oxford will celebrate its 14th anniversary in July with the first of three Free Sunday Concerts in Lafayette Park, right outside 6OTS’s doors.

The first Free Concert presents Oxford native Nate Gross.  Gross has earned fans by blending and performing sounds from the 20th century, melding together blues, jazz, traditional country, R&B and Americana.

From an audience of over 30,000 people at The Taste of Country Music Festival to touring up and down the east coast, Gross has shared the stage with Dickey Betts, Anders Osbourne, Honey Island Swamp Band, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Commander Cody, The Kentucky Headhunters, Blackberry Smoke and many more.

The Concert will start at 2 p.m. We will follow any public health guidelines for COVID-19 to keep the concerts safe. Bring your own chair or blanket for seating.  In case of inclement weather, the Concert will move indoors into the 6OTS venue.

The free summer concerts are generously funded by a grant from the Robert C. Smith Foundation and sponsorship by NBT Bank.
