NORWICH – The Artists’ Palette will host a gallery opening next week, showcasing works from numerous photographers who are taking the “Capture It!” course.

Kraft said this course started on May 13 and will end on June 17. She said from 6 to 8 p.m. on June 17 there will be a free to view full gallery of four works from each of the photographers at Creative Works/The Artists’ Palette.

“The class has been really successful, and we’re happy to be able to display each photographer’s work for everyone to see,” said Kraft. “My goal is to offer another class in the early fall, one that will include more day trips as people seem to benefit from that.”

She said the inspiration for the class was discovered last summer following a photography class for teenagers. She added that she felt there were monumental things happening all over Chenango County, and many people who wanted to capture them but didn’t know how to use their cameras.
