Live theater returns to Norwich Norwich Theater Group is putting on a performance at the Chenango County Art's Council called “Always...Patsy Cline,” which was originally postponed due to the pandemic. (Submitted image) 

NORWICH – The long-awaited performance of “Always...Patsy Cline,” will be presented by Norwich Theater Company on April 23, 24, and 25.

Norwich Theater Company is pleased to announce the production will be at the Martin Kappel Theater in the Chenango Arts Council building, on 27 West Main Street, Norwich, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 23, 24, and 25.

Always...Patsy Cline tells the true story of Patsy's meeting and lifelong friendship with a fan, Louise Seger. It is full of touching moments, belly laughs, and, of course, more than 25 of Patsy Cline's most memorable songs. Created and originally directed by Ted Swindley, it is a show not to be missed.

All New York State and local regulations for mask-wearing and social distancing will be followed and ticket sales are limited. Tickets are by advance sale only by visiting www.norwich theater company.org, in person at Service Pharmacy, Norwich, or by calling 1-888-613-4496.

People who have tickets for the originally scheduled performance, they will be honored. However, to comply with regulations, you must call 1-888-613-4496 to exchange them for one of the current night's performances. Please note that patrons who have not exchanged their previous tickets for new ones will not be able to be seated.

This production is made possible through the generous support of the Greater Norwich Foundation and with public funds from the Chenango Arts Council's Decentralization Program, as a re-grant program of the NYS Council on the Arts, with support from Governor Cuomo and the NYS Legislature.
