GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Norwich 3, Chenango Forks 0

BINGHAMTON – Norwich took no time rebounding from their loss earlier this week against the Owego Indians as the girls in Purple made it a clean sweep on Thursday March 25th as they blew past the Blue Devils of Chenango Forks in straight sets 25-22, 25-21 and 25-16.

Norwich held their own against the Blue Devils who rallied in the first and second games to close the gap on the Tornado. “It took the team some time to pull things together, but they managed…so fun to watch the girls when they are clicking together” said Norwich Head Coach Shelly Alger on her team’s performance.

Among the statistical leaders for the Purple who left their impact on the floor were the usual suspects; Maddy Morris and Lauren Squires.
