COVID-19 Vaccine Update For Chenango County

CHENANGO COUNTY– In the last week the Chenango County Health Department has reported 241 vaccinations; 92 were essential education workers and 165 in the 65-plus population .

A total of 1,060 vaccines have so far been given in the county.

The health department expect to received 300 total doses this week.

Distribution of vaccine will go to more 1A and 1B priority groups that have been identified by the State Health Department

Note: Vaccine supply is still very limited. We have 7 days to distribute any vaccine that we receive.

Currently, we do not have a waiting list for those under age 65 with co-morbidities or underlying health conditions. Please do not contact us to be on a wait list. As soon as we have vaccine beyond the 1A and 1B groups, we will notify the public.

Although specific co-morbidities and underlying medical conditions will make more individuals eligible on February 15, we do not have a vaccine supply for this group yet and do not have a waiting list at this time.
